Step Out This Spring in a Pair of Wedges - Makeup and Beauty Blog
This post is sponsored by Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, and it'due south all about spring wedges! For information about my posting policy, please see my Disclaimer.
Later a blustery winter spent burrito'd in cat lady socks and articulatio genus-high boots, my anxiety are ready for warm weather. Woo-hoo, sandal flavour! Here we come!
Winter footwear is fun and all, but I'm partial to leap and summer because 1) I get to show off my pedicures (#priorities) and ii) I can finally wear wedges. 🙂
Yeah, I'k a scrap of a shoe hoarder… Wedges, preferably platforms with a practiced cork heel (I'm only 5'1″, and then I like the summit), are some of my favorite shoes this fourth dimension of yr.
For high heels, they're surprisingly comfy. Like, I know that I could spend a mean solar day walking around San Francisco in wedges, no problem, just I couldn't imagine doing it in stilettos.
Plus, if/when it starts drizzling or a heavy fog rolls in (summers in SF tin be Common cold!) and I'm wearing cork wedges, they're naturally waterproof.
In spring and summer, y'all'll pretty much detect me in a pair of wedges every unmarried twenty-four hour period. No matter what I accept lined up, information technology'southward not hard to find a pair that works with whatever outfit I'thou wearing.
When I take a piece of work meeting in the city, I'll often don a colorful dress and cardigan, and slip a tan pair similar these Franco Sarto Sherry wedges ($59.99) on my anxiety.
Being neutral, I don't think they aren't too flashy for a business coming together, just the detailing, in this instance the crossed straps, dresses them up a little while giving them some personality.
On weekends, that's when my fun wedges come out to play. I might put on that same colorful wearing apparel, only make a few little changes to the ensemble to accept it from piece of work to play.
Or Lord's day brunch, which is i of my favorite things!
I'll only swap out the cardigan for a vintage denim jacket, the bib necklace for a pair of dangly earrings, and the nude wedges for something spunkier, similar these navy blue Yvonne wedges by Jellypop ($39.99).
I remember the color and detailing give it some weekend sass and go on it from looking overly stuffy or formal.
If you lot're interested in either of these pairs, or if you lot're otherwise on the prowl for a pair of wedges to update your jump wardrobe, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse has a wide selection, with many pairs nether $50.
